This privacy policy describes how Compact Living (org. no. 921 887 922) as data controller collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
Compact Living is the data controller for personal data collected via multibord.no. Contact us at marius@compactliving.com if you have questions about our processing of personal data.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect information you provide in the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), selected model, and message content. In addition, we collect technical information via cookies if you consent: IP address (anonymised), page views and user behaviour (Google Analytics), and advertising-related data (Meta Pixel).
3. Purpose and legal basis
Contact form: We process your data to respond to your enquiry and provide pricing information. The legal basis is consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you provide by ticking the checkbox in the form. Analytics and marketing: We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, and Meta Pixel to measure advertising effectiveness. The legal basis is consent via the cookie banner.
4. Third parties and data processors
We send emails via SMTP directly from our server — form data is not shared with third parties for forwarding. Google LLC (USA): Google Analytics collects anonymised usage statistics. Meta Platforms Inc. (USA): Meta Pixel measures advertising effectiveness. Transfers to the USA occur under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell your personal data.
5. Cookies
Essential cookies: Used for basic functionality (e.g. cookie consent). Do not require consent. Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid). Only loaded after your consent. Marketing cookies: Meta Pixel (_fbp). Only loaded after your consent. You can change your consent at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
6. Retention and deletion
Contact form data: Deleted within 12 months after the enquiry has been answered and the matter closed. Analytics data: Anonymised and stored for up to 26 months by Google. Cookie data: Expires automatically – _ga after 2 years, _gid after 24 hours, _fbp after 90 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to: Access – request a copy of the data we hold about you. Rectification – request correction of inaccurate data. Erasure – request that we delete your data. Restriction – request that processing be restricted. Data portability – receive your data in a machine-readable format. Withdraw consent – you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. 8. Right to complain
If you believe we are processing personal data in breach of the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet): datatilsynet.no. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter.

We may update this privacy policy. Material changes will be communicated on the website. The last update is indicated at the top of this page.
